With the exception of you trivia hounds I am sure like me none or rather most of us find it difficult to remember the headliners of yesteryears. Suprising especially considering that these are no second rate achievements and the best in the fields. But the applause dies.
Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.
